3A Your Entrepreneurship Story

I was exposed to entrepreneurship through girl scouts who had stopped by my house to sell us cookies. I was very confused why there were people walking around selling stuff trying to make money. Soon learning of the idea that you can try to market products you have to people outside stores was a new concept to me. So 8 year old me in all my greatness decided to sell my crayon drawings to people who visited my grandparents on weekends to make money for Pokemon cards and snacks. It was not a successful venture. My first sale came from me haggling a poor person leaving out of the drive way to buy a rough looking doodle of a mermaid from me for 50 cents. It was after the sale that I realized I think I might have been scaring him and over charged for my very very sloppy mermaid. Me and the company shut down a few hours later, but I was the only employee so no harm done there. And thus my money venture came to an end.

I enrolled in ENT 3003 because I'm in Innovation Academy student and its a class that I needed to take to get the Innovation minor. I hope to learn more about business and how they run and think.
(If only my drawings looked this good)

2A - Bug List

My twenty things that bug me:

1. Maps and the accuracy of what still exists and what doesn't.
- This bug exists because businesses are constantly changing and hard to keep up with world wide.

2. Looking at prices online during black Friday to compare and find the best deal.
-  Stores use tiny print and requirement add on's to force customers to get the actual deal listed.

3. Stores on black friday will rearrange their stores and place products scattered everywhere.
- Companies do this so that people will be forced to go across other deals and products while searching for theirs, making them buy more.

4. First day of school traffic
- New students, returning students and those returning to a normal routine all are trying to get used to traveling to where they need to be again.

5. Lack of info on clubs at UF
- They give pamphlets and papers on everything else when you come to the school but not on the clubs UF has, not sure why.

6. Finding rental homes in Gainesville for students
- Apartments are mainly pushed since there are so many, and private rental home owner websites are hidden.

7. Apartments, homes, and rental pet policies are so hard to find, and hard to find what they allow or don't.
-This may be used so that you are forced to call them to find out more info or to physically go visit the place.

8. Mirrors that I cant see cause I'm too short
-There put based off average height and where it looks best.

9. Gym equipment without some type of instructions
-Its typically assumed you know how to use it or have someone else to show you how.

10. Lack of food and entertainment in gainesville that isn't correlated to drinking and partying.
-Many places are targeted as being part of the college party town, and many new areas are still in development.

11.Lack of bus routes to certain areas
- Those areas simply aren't as popular as others and don't need the frequent transport.

12. Teachers that release assignments week by week at random and not in advance
-Most likely keeps student on their toes to keep track of whats going on in the class.

13. No matter how much you sweep and vacuum there's still dust
-No product can 100% clean everything perfectly, dust and dirt are also easily moved.

14. Apple cheated their consumers by reducing the battery life of older models
- They did it get customers to buy their newer models.

15.The constant conversation that our futures are bleak and we will be in debt from college with no job.
-Debt is realistic and difficult to pay off with interest accumulation and jobs are dependent n the market.

16.Certain peoples reliance on energy drinks
- Constant energy drinks help students stay up and energized to do work however also bad for health in large amounts.

17. Difficulty finding specific shows you want to watch but they aren't available on anything you use
-Different company's own the rights and may not be allowed use by others.

18. The paper bags at my job used to have little paper handle but now they don't.
-It depends on who orders our stock and equipment.

19. Music can be loud in one earphone and quite in the other based on certain songs.
-Equipment can be faulty or songs will be designed to play that way for listeners pleasure.

20.Finding issues and complaints or finding things that upset you are hard when your happy.
-Issues and troubles are sometimes momentary and forgettable if not consistent.

I found the assignment as a 5 out of 10 in difficulty, I suppose I just had many things I thought could be improved upon around me. It wasn't as difficult as I was imagining it to be.
